Yes, our ShieldGold and ShieldPlatinum plans cover the parts and components of clothes washers.

We cover all components and parts of clothes washers. The ShieldGold plan covers up to $2,000 for each covered appliance. The ShieldPlatinum plan covers up to $4,000 for each covered appliance. See the page above and the plan agreement for more detailed coverage information. 

If we can’t repair your covered washer, we’ll replace it subject to the limitations and exclusions of your plan agreement and remove the defective item.

We will match the replacement as similarly as possible to the malfunctioned washer in terms of features, capacity, and efficiency. However, we cannot guarantee that we can match the exact dimensions, brand, or color. You can also opt for a payout in the amount of a similar model so you can upgrade your appliance and use our Appliance Discount Program. Our exclusive discounts will help your dollars go further.

You can place your first service request 30 days after you sign up for your plan. Service requests can easily be placed 24/7 online via MyAccount or by calling 1-888-691-2854 during standard business hours to request service.
